Academic Requirements:

Those who have completed their Graduation with minimum of 50% marks from the reputed college and possessing the computer knowledge are considered eligible for the post.


Required Age:

Candidates should have an age in between 21 years to 35 years with respect to 1st of February, 2014.

Recruitment Process:

Online Test, Personal Interview will be held by the selection authority so as to hire the eligible candidates for the post. Medical Exam will be conducted for those candidates who qualify these phases.

Eligibility Conditions:

The candidates in order to participate in the concerned examination for the LIC ADO post should be a graduate in any discipline along with an MBA in Marketing from a recognized university or institute for being eligible to the post of ADO.


Age Eligibility:

The candidates applying to the Apprentice Development Officer posts should be not more than 30 years of age and not less than 21 years of age for being eligible to the post. The candidates seeking relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per the rules framed by the government for this purpose.

SC/ ST candidates: 35 years
OBC candidates: 33 years
LIC Employee (not a member of SC/ST/OBC):42 years

Hiring Process:

The candidates applying to the post of Apprentice Development Officer will be required to participate in a written test and interview for being selected to the concerned post. The LIC conducts an Online Test of two hours duration which is in objective modes containing multiple choice questions for all the candidates.

Scheme of Exam:

The Online Test conducted includes the objective type questions on the following main topics:

I. Reasoning & Numerical Ability

II.General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language; especially on Grammar and Vocabulary

The candidates are required to pass in each section of the paper with the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the LIC for this purpose.
