1. Candidates should have passed Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline from the recognized university or college. Those who have done B.Sc or any Science discipline programmes should secured atleast 55% in their qualifying exam while for rest disciplines, 50% marks in qualifying exam is needed. Computer Knowledge is essential for the post.
2. Candidates’ age should be less than 26 years with respect to 31st of Aug, 2013. The maximum age is relaxed by Five years for the candidates of Scheduled Caste/Tribe categories but for this, candidate has to submit the required caste proof.
3. Applying person should be residing in the state of Meghalaya permanently and for this, he/she should have documentary proof. He/she must know local dialect of Meghalaya in addition to English and Hindi.
Mode of Selection:
Candidates are required to qualify written exam and after that personal interview so as to select for the post. The written test can be conducted in Shillong.
General Category Applicants should pay Rs. 250/- while reserved class should deposit Rs 50/- in the shape of Demand Draft duly crossed favoring SOUTH INDIAN BANK, payable at Kolkata.

Candidates should have passed Class 10th, Class 12 with 60 % marks and Graduation securing min. 55% marks. For BA, B.Com candidates, 50% marks are required. Candidates must have knowledge of local dialect in addition to English language.
Candidates should have attained the minimum age of 20 yrs and his/her maximum age should not be more than 26 yrs. The age will be reckoned as on 31st of December, 2013. Age will be relaxed by 5yrs to the candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.
NOTE: Candidates should have been residing in the state of Tamil Nadu for more than 5 year.
Applicants will be called for written test after initial short listing done by the Bank. After passing Written Test, candidate has to appear for the Personal Interview round.
Unreserved category candidates need to pay an amount Rs. 400/- while ST and SC candidates have to pay an amount Rs 100/- through challan form paid in any South Indian Bank’s branch. Retain the authenticated candidate’s copy given of the challan form for the future purpose.
