Name of the Position- Probationary Clerk

Number of Positions- 5 Vacancies

Limitation of Age- Contenders should not be more than 26 years of age as on 31st of July, 2014. Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years in case of SC / ST applicants.

Scale of Pay- Selected contender will receive Rs.7,200 to Rs.19,300 as salary.

Educational Necessities- Aspirants should have obtained a Graduation degree having completed 10+2+(3/4) course with minimum 50% marks in case of Commerce / Arts / Other streams and 55% marks in case of Science / Engineering streams. Aspirants should have proficiency in computer operations.


Hiring Procedure- Written Test and Interview will be the criteria for selection of applicants.

Cost of Application- General category aspirants have to pay Rs.400 and SC / ST category aspirants have to pay Rs.100. Application fee has to be paid in the form of Demand Draft favouring ‘The South Indian Bank Ltd.’ payable at Ahmedabad. Reference ID and Name of the applicants has to be written at the back side of the DD.

Interested aspirants can apply online for the given position by visiting the official website of the Bank : southindianbank.com . Aspirants have to fill the online application form and upload scanned copy of signature and passport size photograph. Contenders will get a system generated User ID (Application Ref. ID) and password after filling the online application form. Aspirants should print the hard copy of the application and attach DD and relevant documents along with it.
