SSC introduces a job for the post Stenographer .The SSC Stenographer acts as a medium between people and the organization. It helps in all verbal communication in business meetings, in transferring messages of clients to organization etc.They also acts as a secret witness in communication channel between clients and organization. They use to record every communication in business meetings, dealings under the permission of organization to be used later in case of dismiss of clients.
Stenographers are well –trained professionals who work with full concentration and attention at the working hours. They are updated with every information, internally and externally of organization.
They are the hidden people, who work under the organisation, whose purpose is to get updated with every activity occurring inside the organization. They should be precise in every details of organization
A Stenographer must have capability to work in all environments at any place with their increasing capacity of holding and managing things.
The allowance of SSC stenographer of Grade C is from Rs.9300 to 34,800 including grade pay of 4600& Grade D is from Rs.5200 to 20,200 including grade pay of 2400.
· A candidate must have Intermediate qualification from any board or university.
· Candidate must be either from India, Nepal or Bhopal or Tibetan refugee who migrated to India.
· Age eligibility is from 18 to 27 years.
The selection is based on written test followed by an test of skills of candidate. The written test contains 200 questions of 200 marks with a duration of 2 hours for general candidates & 2 hours 40 minutes for physically handicapped.. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will deducted from calculated marks.
The test include following fields:
1. General Intelligence & Reasoning: It contains 50 questions of 1 mark.
2. General Awareness: It contains 50 questions of 1 mark.
3. English Language and Comprehension: It contains 100 questions of 1 mark.
Skill test will be conducted at Commission’s Regional/Sub Regional Offices or center as per informed by commission
Skill Test For Grade C: English-40 minutes, Hindi- 55 Minutes
Grade D: English-50 minutes, Hindi- 65 Minutes
