Graduate Aptitude test in engineering (GATE) is all India exam conducted by the Indian institute of science. This test is conducted for admission in Master of technology at both government and private organization .Qualified individuals in GATE can also apply for the public sector jobs.
Eligibility: Candidates who are appearing in the last year of B.Tech or who has passed B.tech through any stream such as computer science ,electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil, information technology etc.
How to apply for the GATE?
For applying for the gate, individuals are requested to apply online.
First upload your photograph, signature and the necessary certificates/documents required.
Payment could be made available through both online and offline mode.
Online user can do payment by means of credit/debit card.
Offline user can do payment by means of e-slip generated while filling of the application form.
No fee will be charged for the female candidates and Rs.1200 will be charged for the male candidates.
Please fill the application form before the ending date of availability.

Examination pattern of GATE:
Exam will be conducted both in offline and online mode.
Gate exam comprise of the 65 questions including 15 marks aptitude and 85 marks technical section as per individual’s stream.
The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Hall ticket for GATE:
Candidates can visit the link and log on to the site: gateapp.iitb.ac.in:8080/GATE/
Please perform application login with their valid mail id and password which was used at the time of the application form.
Please download your Hall token card by clicking on the tab ‘Download Admit Card ’.
After downloading, please print it on a sheet of paper.
The hard copy of the downloaded hall token card has to be brought at the time of the examination otherwise will not be allowed for the examination.
