Students who have completed Bachelor Degree in Science/ Application /BIT that should be of atleast 3 yrs regular course OR done B Tech or B.E from the recognized university. The minimum percentage of marks secured by candidate of General and OBC categories is 60% or equivalent CGPA and 55% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
NIMCET Selection Methodology:
Students for the course will be selected on the basis of their marks in the Written Exam. The merit list will be displayed on the official portal of the NIMCET.
Way of Applying:
Interested candidates in pursuing MCA from the top NITs can submit their applications through online mode. The notification regarding the NIMCET 2014 will come on the official web-portal and so as the Apply Online link. The complete application form should be taken in printed form and send it with the Demand Draft at the concerned address.
NIMCET Exam Structure:
Mathematics 50 Ques., Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning 40 Ques., English Language 20 Ques., Computer Knowledge10 Ques.
The question will be in Objective Type format and marks allotted for each question is 4 and negative credit is 1 mark. Time to complete paper is 2hrs.
