Specifics of the Examination-
Examination Name- IBPS CWE Clerical Examination
Age Group- Minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum age limit is 28 years.
Academic Qualification- Candidates should have possession of a Graduation Degree in any stream from a renowned University.
Pattern of Examination- From the year 2015 there will be two separate question papers for the Clerical Examination, i.e. Preliminary and Main. Previously, there was only one paper which was of 2 hours and carried 200 marks. It was divided into 5 sections (Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English Language and Reasoning). Each section was of 40 marks. The question paper was bilingual (English and Hindi). Objective type questions will be asked, for each correct answer one mark will be awarded and for each wrong answer ¼ mark (0.25 mark) will be deducted.
Syllabus of Examination-
1). Reasoning : (Arithmetical Computation, Symbols and their relationships, Judgment, Discrimination, etc.)
2). English Language : General Grammar, Synonyms, Antonyms, Vocabulary, etc.)
3). Numerical Ability : Whole Numbers, HCF & LCM, Profit Loss, Decimals and Fractions, etc.)
4). General Awareness : Economy, Science and Technology, Banking Knowledge, Important Awards and Honors, etc.)
5). Computer Knowledge : Introduction of computer and history, Computer device, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)

Preliminary Examination:- 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th of December, 2015
