JMET (Joint Management Entrance Test) is an eligibility test to qualify for various Post Graduate Programmes in Management. Description of JMET Exam 2015 :
Name of the Examination- JMET (Joint Management Entrance Test) 2015
Name of the Conducting Organization IITs (Indian Institute of Technology)
Academic Requirement- Contenders must hold Graduation degree with at least 60 per cent marks (55 per cent marks for SC / ST category). Contenders appearing for the final examination of Graduation are also eligible to apply.
Note- In 2011 JMET was discontinued and was replaced with CAT (Common Admission Test).
Pattern of Examination- The question paper will contain 120 questions of total 120 marks. Each question carries one mark. The duration of examination is 2 hours and negative marking is applicable (0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer). Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the question paper.
Syllabus of Examination- The question paper will be divided into 4 part and the questions will be from the following subjects :
A). Verbal Communication
B). Logical Reasoning
C). Quantitative Ability
D). Data Interpretation
Cost of Application- Candidates applying for the JMET needed to pay a requisite amount of application fee through specified mode within the scheduled date.
