Railway conducts the competitive examinations for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician Signal Grade 2, Junior Engineer- 2, Technician Grade 3/ Engine Wing, Assistant Station Master. Applicants should have completed the Degree/Diploma from the recognized institute/college.
The lower age for the posts is 18yrs and upper age for the post should be 33yrs. The grace in the maximum age of 3yrs is granted to the Other Backward Classes and 5years to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
The various phases of the selection rounds are Written Examination, Verification of Document, and Medical Examination.
Exam Sections of the Railway Recruitment:
English Language, Arithmetic Ability, General Awareness /General Knowledge and General Intelligence/Reasoning are the different sections of the exam. Total time to complete the paper is 2hours and total number of questions is 150. The detailed syllabus of the RRB Exam is given below.
