The Punjab Gramin Bank has announced recruitment for the following positions: Officer in Middle Management (Scale III), (Scale II) and Officer in Junior Management (Scale I), Office Assistant (Multipurpose) through online Common Written Examination –II conducted for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in September/October 2013. Academic Qualifications:

The minimum qualification for the eligibility to all the above concerned posts is Graduation in any discipline from any recognized universities of India. The candidates with a good knowledge of the local language will be given preference over other candidates.

Age Boundation:

The minimum and maximum ages for all the positions specified above are as follows: not more than 40 years in case of Officer Scale III, from 18 to 28 years for Officer Scale I and Office Assistant with effect from 1st July 2013. Relaxation in ages will be granted on the basis of the government rules specified for this purpose.

Selection Procedure: 

The candidates invited for the application of the above posts will be selected on the basis of a Personal Interview held at the specified centres for all the eligible candidates who have qualified in the Common Written examination II conducted by the IBPS for this purpose.

Application Procedure:

The candidates can apply online through the official website of the Punjab Gramin Bank i.e. pgbho.com. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of the CWE-II of IBPS merit and cut-off will be only called for the Personal Interview. The final selections will include both the scores in the CWE as decided on the TWSS (Total Weighted Standard Scores) as well as their performance in the Personal Interview collectively.
