Scale of Pay: Rs 15600 to Rs 39100 and Grade Pay Rs 6000

Age Criteria:

Candidate’s age should be at least 21yrs of age and his/her maximum age should not be over 32yrs as on 1^st of August, 2013. Age relaxation to the candidates’ of various categories is permissible.

Significant Dates:

Closing Date to Apply Online: 3^rd of December, 2013 up to 5PM

Pre-Examination Date: 29th of December, 2013 from 2PM to 4PM

Mains- Examination Date: 16^th of March, 2013 from 10AM to 12 Noon.

Application Money:

Candidates of open category and other backward class need to pay Rs 500/- and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, Girls, Physically Challenged need to submit Rs 20/- .

Selection Route:

Candidate need to take the written examination (pre and mains) and then the viva voce for selecting as Scientists in ARS.

Examination Module:

Preliminary Examination will hold on 29^th of December, 2013 from 2PM to 4PM. This exam is qualifying in nature and the marks obtained at this phase will not be added to the mains exam. The mains examination will be organized on 16^th of March, 2013 from 10AM to 12 Noon. Pre exam will have 150 marks, mains exam will have 240 marks and viva voce will have 60 marks.

Candidate who wishes to apply for the post may visit the official website of ASRB [www.asrb.org.in] website or ICAR [www.icar.org.in] website. Complete each and every particular with correct information. For this, keep in advance the mark sheets of all qualifying examinations, scanned copy of image and signature, Email-Id etc. Candidate has to complete the application form with the help of these files/documents. Retain the copy of the application form for the further use.

The registration process divided into 5 phases and it will be completed if the candidate completes the payment option and uploading of image and photo etc.
