Indian Institute of Astrophysics Posts’ Specification:

Posts’ Description: Engineer-B, Technical Assistant (Design) and Junior Technical Assistant (Electrical)

Posting Place: Bangalore 

Pay Scale Rs 15600 to Rs 39100 GP 5400 for Engineer-B, Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 Grade Pay Rs 2800 for Technical Assistant (Design) and Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 Grade Pay Rs 2400

Age Condition:

The maximum age limit for the aforementioned posts is 30 yrs as on 09^th of December, 2013. Candidates seeking age relaxation should have due benefit in maximum age provided they come under the reserved categories.

Scholastic Details:

Engineer-B: Applicants should hold the Bachelor of Engineering or Technology qualification in the Electronics disciplines with sound educational background.

Technical Assistant (Design): Applicant must be holding the Mechanical Engineering Diploma of course duration with securing 60% marks from the college or institution of repute.

Junior Technical Assistant (Electrical): Applicant having the Electrical discipline certificate acquired from ITI [Industrial Training Institute].

Candidate should have pertaining years of working experience in line for different posts.
