Post Name: Constable (Tradesman)

Vacant Posts: 32

Place of Job: All over India

Scale of Pay: Pay Band I: Rs5200-20200 + Grade pay of Rs2000

Trades for Constable:

Tailor, Cook, Gardener, Barber, Cobbler, Safai Karamchari, Water Carrier and Washer man

Eligibility for Job:

The candidates should be possessing HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) /Class 10^th passed from any recognized central/ state boards of India. The candidates having a two year experience in the concerned trade shall be given more preference over other job seekers. An additional requirement for this job is the diploma of two year duration from ITI / Any other Vocational Institute /any other institute equivalent to it is mandatory for all the job seekers.

Age Bar:

The minimum and the maximum ages of all the candidates should be 18 and 32 years respectively for the concerned job post.

Selection Criteria:

The selection process for this recruitment consists of the following tests to be conducted by the selection authorities:

i) Height Bar Test

ii) Race

iii) PST (Physical Standard Test)

iv) Trade Test (50 Marks)

v) Written Test (OMR Based) 50 Marks

The candidates who qualify in all the above exams will be considered for recruitment on the basis of their merits obtained in all the above stated exams for this purpose. The marks will be calculated on the basis of the following: 60% weightage to written test and 40% weightage to the Trade Test.

Offline application forms should be made in the manner as prescribed in the notification before the date of closing applications. The candidates of unreserved categories should pay the application fee of Rs50 in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp from any of the Post Offices of India for this purpose.
