Description about the Posts:

Assistant in Civil Court’s (Grade Pay: 2400)

Clerk’s in C.B.I. Court’s (Grade Pay: 1900)

Clerk’s in Family Court’s (Grade Pay: 1900)

Clerk’s in Gram Nayayalayas (Grade Pay: 1900)

Educational Background:

Applicants must have completed the Graduation from the university of repute and should be having the knowledge of computer and typing skills (at least 15 wpm). Applicants should have sound health and unblemished background.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200-20200/-

Criteria of Age (As on 01/January/14): 

All Applicants should have attained the minimum age of 18 yrs and their maximum age if they belong to Open Category, should not be more than 35 yrs of age, 37 yrs if they belong to Economically Backward Class or Most Backward Class (Schedule-1) and Backward Class (Schedule-2), 38 yrs if the candidate is Girl (Open/Backward Categories) & 40 yrs if the candidate falls in the categories of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Physically Challenged.

Selection Methodology:

Applicants have to take Written Examination, Computer Test and then Interview. The selection of the candidates will be done through Merit order. First the selection would be done for Civil Court Assistant Post and then for the other Clerk Posts.

Charges of Registration: 

Unreserved and Other Backward applicants should deposit amount Rs. 500/- Scheduled Caste and Tribe applicants must deposit amount Rs125/- in the form of Demand Draft or IPO or Banker's Cheque drawn in favor of "Registrar General, High Court of Jharkhand, payable at Ranchi".

Last Date for Applying: 3^rd of January, 2014

Applying Way:

Candidates can apply for the post either paper mode or online mode. Those who are opting to apply online required depositing application fee through online mode. Those who wish to apply paper mode need to fill up the application form (given below) in English language only and tagged the requisite testimonials self attested, 3photos (1 should be signed by Gazette Officer) and 1 self addressed envelope (10*4cm) addressing to Registrar General, Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi by Speed or Regd. Post only latest by 3^rdof January, 2014.
