 Age Criteria:

The age of candidates must lie in between 18 yrs to 32 yrs [as on 01-Jan-2013]. Candidates falling under reserved class will be given age grace in their maximum age as per the orders of government.

Educational Condition:

Applicants should possess the Graduation degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical securing at least 60% marks for the Asst Engineer post. For the posts of Asst Planner and Technical Asst, candidates should have diploma qualification in the concerned line with 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Minimum years of working experience are also essential for the posts.

Recruitment Way:

Candidates whose application form will be accepted need to take Preliminary Examination, Written Examination, Skill Test and Personal Interview.

Registration Money: 

Willing applicants have to pay amount Rs 200/- (Application Fee + Processing Fee) through challan form remitted at UBI [United Bank of India] in A/C No. 0088050006798 of UBI Entally Branch. Challan Form can be downloaded from the Commission’s Website. Those who fall under the categories of Scheduled Caste, Physically Disabled and Scheduled Tribe are need to pay amount  Rs 50/- through the same way.

Note: Bank will collect Rs 20/- as transaction charges.

Applying System:

Those interested in the post are required to forward the application form and other mandatory testimonials and certificates (Photostat Copies) attached addressing to Office of Municipal Service Commission, 149, A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata – 700 014 not later than 12^th of December-2013 up to 16 hrs.
