Chandigarh, Ludhiana (C &M), Patiala, Sangrur, Amritsar Bathinda, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala

2. RMS Offices:

RMS LD Dn. Ludhiana and RMS ‘I’ Dn. Jalandhar

3. Administrative Officers

Circle Office, Chandigarh and PSD, Ludhiana

Educational Condition:

Aspirants must have completed SSC/Class 10 from the recognized Board or have done ITI course from the recognized place.

Age Requirement: 

Applicants should be in age group in between 18 years to 27 years. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes have age relaxation of 5yrs and 3yrs respectively.

Selection Criteria:

Applicants have to take the Written Test for qualifying for the post. The marks allotted for written examination is 100 for 100 questions and time allotted is 1and half hour. The paper includes the question from the sections like General Knowledge (25 marks), Mathematics (25 marks), English (25 marks) and Punjabi Language (25 marks). It is required to obtain minimum qualifying marks in each part.

Examination will conduct on same date for all the units and divisions.

Exam Charges:

Those who are interested for the post required depositing charges Rs. 100/- in a Post Office located in Punjab /Union Territory Chandigarh and Obtain ACG-67/ UCR receipt.

Applying Procedure:

The format of sending application paper is provided on the official website. Candidate has to fill up the form in the same way and attach them with application form and also put other mandatory testimonials and certificates, envelope of dimension 9*4 along with Postage Stamp Rs 40/- Postage in an envelope on top of which the name of the post should be written as “Application for the Post of MTS” and forward this addressing to The Director General (DE), Department of Posts, Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi-1 10001 not later than 27 December/2013 through Speed or Registered Post.
