Vijaya Bank Recruitment 2013-14

Vijaya is one of the Nationalized Banks is Public Sector Bank. The bank recruits personnel at different cadres through the common entrance exam organized by IBPS. So whatever the criteria and standard established by IBPS will also be mandatory parameters for the candidate to select in the Vijaya Bank. Manner of Selecting Candidate:

Individual passed in the Online Probationary Officers Test as well as Common Interview invited organized by Indian Institute of Banking Personnel will be considered eligible to select for the Vijaya Bank’s PO recruitment. The list of the successful candidates will be posted on the Bank’s Website.

Required Educational Background:

Persons who have completed B.Sc/B.Com/B.A/B.Tech/B.E or done Post Graduation or equivalent study from the college or university duly recognized by the UGC can apply.

Note: As per the latest modification done by the IBPS, Computer Literacy is not important for the IBPS-PO III Exam.

Knowledge of Local Language:

Applicants must know the regional language of the territory for which they are applying.

Applying Procedure:

There would not be any separate procedure to apply for the Vijaya Bank. Those who has applied for the IBPS PO will be counted for the Bank’s Vacancies if arises.

Age (as on 1July, 2013):

The age of the Individual must have reached to 20yrs and must not exceed to 30yrs. Age relaxation to the Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Physically Challenged, Domicile of J&K, ExSM, victims of 1984riots and Scheduled Tribe will be offered as per the government directives.
