Age Requirement:

Applicants must have attained the age of 18yrs and not crossed the age of 35yrs for Post 1 to Post 6 and for the post 5 and post 6; candidates should have age in between 18yrs to 30yrs.  The age will be calculated as on 20^th of January, 2014. Educational Requirement:

Applicants must have Nursing Diploma or its equal qualification and the name must be registered in Nurse and Midwife under INC Act 1947 for Public Health Nurse Post, MSW (in Medical Social Work) for Medical Social Worker Post. Pharmacy degree for Pharmacological Analyst Post, Post graduation (Food and Nutrition / Food Service Management and Dietetics) for the Junior Dietician Post, Radiography/ Radio Graphic Science Diploma for Uro Technician Post and Anesthesia Technology Degree for Anaesthesia Technician Post.

Selection Criteria:

Applicants will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Personnel Interview.

Cost of Registration:

Applicants need to remit Rs 500/- if they fall under the categories of Unreserved and Other Backward Class, Rs 250/- for the Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste and Physically Challenged from Post 1 to Post 4. Candidates who are applying for the Post 5 and Post 6 and fall under the category of Unreserved and Other Backward Class need to remit Rs 300/- and Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste and Physically Challenged should need to pay Rs 150  through DD drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, JIPMER payable at Pondicherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch).

Applying Process:

Applicants have to forward the application form on plain paper of A4 dimension along with other required self signed copies of the important credentials, application charges in an envelope addressing to The Director, JIPMER, Puducherry-605006 latest by 20/January/2014. Write the name of the post applied on top face of the envelope.
