Offered Position: ASI (Assistant Sub Inspector) Stenographers

Total Vacancy: 271 Posts

Job Place: All over India

Pay Scale: Pay band I: Rs.5200 -20200 + Grade pay of Rs. 2800

Other Requirements for the Job:

Academic Qualifications:

The candidates in order to be selected for the position of ASI (Assistant Sub Inspectors) should possess the following educational qualifications: Intermediate/ Class 12^th or anything equivalent from a recognized university/ institute in India. The candidates must be having a Dictation Speed of 10 minutes at 80 words/minute and Transcription Time of 50 Minutes in English / 65 Minutes in Hindi on computer.

 Age Requirements:

The candidates should not be more than 25 and less than 18 years with effect from 22^nd February 2014 for final selection to the concerned post. Candidates seeking age-relaxations will be granted on the basis of the rules framed by the government.

Selection Criteria:

The candidates will have to appear in the following rounds of exams which include: Written Examination, Interview, Skill Test and Medical Exams respectively for all the eligible applicants. The candidates will have to qualify in all the exams for final selection to the concerned post.

Application Procedure:

The candidates can apply offline in the manner prescribed before 22^nd February 2014. The completed applications along with all the necessary documents should be posted to the concerned application receiving centers. The candidates belonging to the Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J & K, Lahul & Spiti, and Pangi Sub-Division of Chambal Districts can apply before 1^st March 2014.
