Academic Qualifications:

The candidates in order to apply for the concerned positions in the Tezpur University should be a Masters in the following disciplines: Arts/ Commerce/ Science/ Humanities and Education with a minimum of 55% marks from any authorized university of India. The candidates applying to the Professor post should be PhD in the concerned discipline. The candidates applying for the Assistant Professor should have qualified in the NET/ SLE/ SET exam conducted by UGC CSIR for this purpose. 

Age Bar:

The candidates applying for the Faculty Positions in the Tezpur University should not be more than 28 years w.e.f. the date of Interview. The candidates seeking relaxations in the upper age limits will be granted a 5 years relaxation as per the government rules framed for this purpose. 

Selection Method:

The candidates applying to all the above mentioned posts will be shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility conditions as stated above and their performance in Interview.
