Allocation of Vacancies:

1. Forest Section Officers    : 151 Vacancies

2. Forest Beat Officers         : 751 Vacancies

3. Assistant Beat Officers    : 1224 Vacancies

4. Thanadars      : 16 Vacancies

5. Bunglow Watchers   : 11 Vacancies

6. Technical Assistant  : 14 Vacancies

Limitation of Age:

The age of applicants must strictly vary between 18 to 30 years if applying for the positions of FSO, FBO, ABO, Bunglow Watchers and Thanadars whereas, the same will remain 18 to 36 years in case applying for Technical Assistant post. However reserved applicants, belonging to SC, ST or OBC categories will be provided with applicable upper age limit relaxation as per norms.

Eligibility Criteria:

If applying for the posts of Forest Section Officers, applicants should be Graduate in the discipline of Botany / Forestry / Horticulture / Zoology / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Geology / Agriculture as a subject OR must possess a B.E. degree under specialization in Civil / Mechanical /Chemical Engineering.

For the posts of Forest Beat Officers, applicants should have cleared their 10+2 (Intermediate exam).

For posts of Assistant Beat Officers, Thanadars and Bunglow Watchers, applicants must have cleared Matriculation (10th Class Exam). 

Whereas, for the posts of Technical Assistants, applicants must be qualified with a trade certificate of draftsman (Civil trade) or I.T.I under state exam or equivalent.

Application Charges:

For Unreserved Applicants – INR.300/-

For Reserved Applicants – INR.150/-

(All applicants are liable to make this aforesaid payment for the means of Application Fee, Processing Fee and Examination Fee for all the posts via Debit or Credit Card or Mee- Seva/ AP Online Centers.)

Procedure for Applying:

Aspirants who fulfill all the requisite qualifications for the posts are supposed to apply via AP Forest Department’s authenticated gateway i.e. forest.ap.nic.in within the due dates of 17^th February & 03^rd March, 2014. Applicants must follow the below mentioned guidelines for successful online application:-

1. Go to the AP Forest Department’s authenticated gateway i.e. forest.ap.nic.in or apfdrt.org.

2. Select “Apply Online” after creating an account on this id.

3. Make the payment of Application Fee as prescribed in the official advertisement through online / offline mode.

4. After clearing all the payments, log in to your account by filling your unique ID and password provided, in the respective fields.

5. Enter all your compulsory details and upload a scanned copy of your recent passport size photo and authentic signature.

6. Check all the details entered carefully and finally click on “Submit”. Now applicants can take a print out of this system generated application form for further use.

Recruitment Method:

Suitable and qualified applicants will be chosen on the grounds of their proficiency in Physical Measurements, Written exam, Document verification, Walking Test & Medical tests for all posts. However, selection for the post of Technical Assistants will entirely rest on the performance of applicants in their Written exam.

Essential Dates:

17^th February, 2014  : Opening Date for Online Submission of Applications

03^rd March. 2014   : Closing Date for Online Submission of Applications

02^nd March, 2014  : Closing Date for Paying Application Fee.
