Vacancy per Category:                                                             

For General Candidates          – 161 Vacancies

For OBC Candidates              – 53 Vacancies

For SC Candidates                 – 12 Vacancies

For ST                                     – 01 Vacancy

Eligibility:

Applicants looking forward for these posts should have cleared Matriculation or equivalent or ITI from a recognized board of education if applying for Administrative offices as well as for Subordinate offices. Candidates who do not have these educational qualifications are not at all eligible for this recruitment.

Age Limit:

Applicants must follow the age limit of 18 to 27 years strictly before applying for the post. They must not exceed this age limitation in any case. However reserved candidates will be granted with appropriate upper age relaxation according to government norms.

Scale of Pay:

Candidates once selected will be remunerated with a monthly salary varying from Rs.5,200/- to Rs.20,200/- with additional Grade pay of Rs 1,800 and permissible allowances.

Examination Charges: INR 175/-

1. Go to tamilnadupost.nic.in official web portal of TNPC.


2. Select the link for “Direct Recruitment of MTS” under the heading of “Recruitment” on the home page.


3. Click on the link for “Download Application Form” on the next page.


4. Candidates will receive a system generated application form in the PDF format on their computer screen.


5. Now individuals can easily take a print out of the hard copy of this form from here.

Selection Process:

Applicants will be chosen on the grounds of their attainment in the Aptitude Test conducted by TNPC lately. Therefore, selection would be based absolutely on Merit of the candidate.
