 Vacancies per Post:

For Scientist/ Engineer post: 01 vacancy

For Medical Officer post: 01 vacancy

Eligibility:

Interested applicants must be qualified with Post graduation in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent specialized in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Machines/ Power Electronics, Electrical Machines & Drives/ Electrical Machines & Drives) or Post graduation in Engineering/ Technology specialized in Power Electronics & Drives for the post of Scientist/ Engineer. Whereas, for the post of Medical Officer, candidates must have qualified M.B.B.S or equivalent with registration in Medical council of India and Diploma in Ophthalmology Medicine & Surgery with applicable work practice.

Age Bar:

Aspirants must not exceed the age limitation of 35 years in any case if looking for this recruitment. However, valid age relaxation will be granted to reserved candidates.

 Application Process:

Academically qualified aspirants may apply online via VSSC’s official website i.e. vssc.gov.in from 03/02/2014 to 17/02/2014. Once the candidates are done with online submission of application, they are required to send a copy of their online application along with the following list of documents:-

1.) Attested copies of all educational qualifications,

2.) Experience certificate

3.) No Objection Certificate from current employer

All the above documents must be sent by ordinary/ speed post on or before 24/02/2014 (last date for the receipt of applications) to the below mentioned address:-

 Directions for applying online:

1. Go to vssc.gov.in i.e. the official VSSC gateway and click on “Recruitment” link available on top of its home page.

2. Select the link “ADVERTISEMENT NO.VSSC-282:Scientist/Engineer SC(M.Tech) , Medical Officer” and click “Apply online”.

3. Enter the compulsory details without any error and click SUBMIT after checking the details carefully.

4. Once the candidates get successfully registered, they will receive a system generated Registration number.

5. Now you need to take a print out of 2 copies of this application form and send it to VSSC in the above prescribed manner.

Selection Procedure:

Eligible applicants will be selected on the base of their previous academic records and application screening. These selected candidates will be invited for a personal interview thereafter.

Last Date for Online Application: 17/02/2014 till 05.00 pm.
