Academic Qualification: The candidates should pass out Class 10 and passed ITI Diploma in the designated trades from the institution recognized from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) OR SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training).
Age Criteria: The minimum age of the candidates should be more than or equal to15 years while maximum age should be less than or equal to 24 years as on 11/04/2014. The upper age grace is granted to the reserved class persons as per the reservation policy of the government.

Selection Procedure: The applicants will be admitted on the basis of merit prepared by recruitment board which will take into account candidates’ academic marks.
Application Procedure: The interested persons have to fill in the application form as per the format prescribed Proforma and should be sent via ordinary post at Office of the Workshop Personnel Officer, Carriage Repair Workshop, South Western Railway, Gadag Road, Hubli-58 0020 (Karnataka) latest by 10 May, 2014. The form can also be submitted by means of personally visiting at Welfare Section of the above said address and put it in the Box provided. “Application for engagement as Act-Apprentices (Ex-ITI) in Hubli Workshop -20, Training Notification No. 01/2014” should be written on cover letter containing application. Two self addressed envelopes with postal stamp costing Rs 5/- on each should be enclosed with application form. SC, PWD and ST applicants need not attach postal stamps.
