Age Bar: The applicants’ age should not exceed 35yrs with respect to 1st of January, 2014. The age grace will be granted to the candidates of reserved categories as per the rules of central government.
NOTE: The age condition is also relaxable to the candidates who are qualified and experienced.
Academic Qualification:
The applicants must have possessed Graduation/Post Graduation degree in the concerned discipline pursued from the recognized college. It is quote here that candidates applying for the posts should have knowledge of Bengali and he/she can write and read in the said language.
Selection Basis:
The selection of the candidates for the posts will be done through Written Examination and after that conducting Personal Interview.
Application Manner:
The applications are for the candidates who fulfill the requisite eligibilities criteria according to post. The form should be enclosed with mark sheets of qualifying examinations, caste certificate, job proof, self addressed envelopes etc. to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700026 ahead of 22nd of April, 2014.

Application Cost:
The candidates should pay the amount Rs. 210/- via IPO endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, OR through Challan from a Government Treasury in West Bengal OR the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The IPO should be payable at G.P.O., Kolkata
