Emolument-
1. General Deputy Medical Officer : Rs.24,900 to Rs.50,500
2. Senior Medical Officer : Rs.29,100 to Rs.54,500
Academic Qualification- The job seeker must hold a MBBS Degree with PG Diploma or Degree in the related field from a renowned Institute or University with relevant experience.
Application Cost- The cost of application for aspirants of General and OBC category is Rs.250. Aspirants who fall under the category of PH / SC / ST are not liable to pay the application fee.
Selection Process- Contenders will be selected on the basis of their performance at Written Test, Personal Interview and percentage of marks at Diploma / Degree level.

Online application form can be filled at : careers.bhel.in. Contenders should fill the application form with full care and submit it online. After submission job seekers must take hard copy of the application form and send it to “Post box no. 35, Post office Piplani, BHEL, Piplani, Bhopal- 462022” in an envelope with “APPLICATION then FOR THE POST OF SMO/GDMO”superscribed on it. Applications should reach the given address before or on the due date or else the application will be rejected.

Post Name: Part Time Medical Officer (General Duty Medical Officer)
Academic Details:
The persons should hold Bachelor Degree in Medicine or Surgery (MBBS) from the institute recognized from Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. The applicants should have worked for atleast one year in any hospital or health institute of repute.
Age Condition:
The maximum age shall not exceed 65 years with respect to 1st of May, 2014. The relaxation is not applicable for this post and the candidates falling in reserved categories will be treated at par with candidates of unreserved categories.
Selection Methodology:
The candidates should have to arrive for interview on the date fixed by the management. There is no reimbursement of charges incurred for attending the interview. The company will appoint only those candidates who pass Medical Test successfully and possess sound health.
Remuneration:
The Company will pay remuneration as per candidate’s qualifications and working experience. The candidates having MBBS degree with 1 year of work experience shall be paid Rs 188/- per hour whereas those who have three years of working experience shall be paid Rs 200/- per hour. The maximum working hour in one day shall be 8 hours.

Application Charges:
The candidates have to submit Rs 200/- by means of Challan Form duly deposited in State Bank of India to the Power Jyoti Account No.3o989466064 at SBI, SECTOR 5A (Code No.0586) in favor of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, HARIDWAR. The fee is applicable for only OBC and General Class applicants. All other categories are not required to pay charges.
