Academic Background: The candidates applying for different posts should hold the Graduation Degree/Diploma in the respective disciplines. The details of post wise education qualification are mentioned in the advertisement file.
Age Details: For the candidates applying for W1 Post, the preferable age band is 18 to 27 years and for A1 and A2 posts, the prescribed age group is 18 to 30 years. The crucial date of determining age shall be June 17th, 2014. The grace in maximum age shall be granted to the candidates of the reserved categories.
Selection Basis: The recruitment process comprised of Written Examination, Physical Standard Test or Driving Test or Stenography Efficiency Test or Typing Efficiency Test and PI rounds. The final list will be drawn on merit list.
Cost of Application: The candidates (UR/OBC) have to submit INR 50/- whereas reserved categories should deposit INR 20/- by means of Challan Form paid in SBI. Ex-SM is exempted to pay the charges.

Post Available: General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) and Medical Officer (Occupational Health)
Service Location: Chennai
Monthly Emoluments: The persons selected on GDMO and MO Positions will be paid Rs. 55000/- as monthly fixed honorarium.
Academic Qualification: The candidates should hold the degree of MBBS duly recognized by Medical Council of India or respective State. For the Medical Officer, candidates should also possess Diploma in Industrial Health (DIH) OR done three months course of Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health or equivalent.
Age Condition: The age limit and reservation criteria to the special categories will be in compliance to the government norms.
Manner to Apply: The aspirants may fill up and bring the application form (format is available here) and may arrive on ONGC, 9th Floor CMDA Tower-I, No.1 Gandhi Irwin Road, Egmore, Chennai-600 008 on dated 04th of June, 2014 at 10 AM along with the original & Xeroxed sets of documents, certificates, Photo ID proof (PAN Card, Aadhar Card, DL, Voter ID etc), photograph. The Xeroxed copies will be collected at the time of interview.
Interview Date: 4th of June, 2014 at 10 AM
Selection Basis: The recruitment process is on contractual basis and for the period of two years. The selection of eligible persons on the posts will be done through interview. There will be no payment of allowances for appearing at the interview.
Contract Period: The contract period will be of 2 years and will be reckoned with respect to the joining date. The candidates are required to sign agreement for joining to the posts.
