About IBPS Recruitment 2014 :
Position’s Name- Probationary Officer / Management Trainee
Age Group- Applicants should fall under the age limit of 20 years to 30 years as on 1st of July, 2014. Relaxation of age will be applicable as per the norms.
Educational Requirements- Contender must possess a Graduation Degree in any stream from a known University.
Hiring Procedure- Aspirants who qualify the CWE will be shortlisted and called for Interview conducted by IBPS and Participating Organization.
Registration Charges- Application fee is Rs.600 for all the candidates except those who fall under the category of PWD / SC / ST, they have to pay Rs.100 as application fee. Application fee could be paid though offline or online mode. Online payment could be made through Credit / Debit Card or Internet Banking. After making online payment contenders should take print out of the e-receipt for future reference. Offline payment could be made by printing the Challan form and depositing the application fee any one of the Public Sector Banks mentioned in the official notification.
Process of Applying :
Eligible and interested contenders can apply through official website of IBPS : ibps.in . Candidates should fill the application form completely and upload scanned copy of latest passport size photograph and signature. After filling all the necessary details contender should submit the application accordingly. Contenders should take print out of the application form and e-receipt (in case of online payment) for future reference. Applications should keep with them hard copy of application, photocopies and originals of necessary documents duly self attested.

About IBPS:
The Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), initially called as the Personnel Selection Service (PSS), was set up in the year 1975 as a unit of National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) for the providing of an organized system of recruitment, promotion and placement services for all the Banking Personnel in Indian Banking Sector. The organization achieved the status of an independent organization in the year 1984.

Eligibility Conditions for the CWE:
The minimum eligibility for the IBPS PO Recruitment Exam is Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university of India with a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD). The candidates should be having a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Information Technology as a subject in the High School or Graduation for this purpose as a mandatory provision. All Indian Citizens eligible can apply.
Age Eligibility:
The age of an IBPS PO Applicant should not be more than 28 years and less than 20 years for being eligible to the concerned post. There is a relaxation in the upper age limits of the following candidates as per the rules framed for this purpose.
SC/ ST candidates: 5 Years
OBC Candidates: 3 Years
PWD Candidates: 10 Years
Ex Servicemen: 5 Years
Applying Method:
The candidates will be informed online through an official notification regarding the application for the CWE examination held usually in the first or second week of October. The notification regarding the application for the concerned exam is released in the months of July/ August and the online registration is made in September through the official website of the IBPS i.e. ibps.in
Examination Pattern:
The examination for the IBPS PO Recruitment consists of a written test and interview respectively held for all the shortlisted candidates. The written examination is at the specified centres of the IBPS.
Scheme of Common Written Exam:
The written exam contains the objective type questions with multiple choices in the following main sections:
1. Reasoning (50 questions) - 50 marks
2. English Language (50 questions) - 25 marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions) - 50 marks
4. General Awareness (50 questions) - 50 marks
5. Computer Knowledge (50 questions) - 50 marks
Descriptive Paper on English Comprehension – 25 marks; Total 250 Marks
The candidates have to score a minimum of cut-off marks in each section of the test for being finally shortlisted in the exam. There will be a deduction of one-fourth or 0.25 for all the wrong answers marked by the candidates.
IBPS will be conducting Interview for all the shortlisted candidates in the month of January-February. The IBPS publishes the Score Cards for all the successful candidates’ offline and sends it individually through registered post.
