Age Group- Job seeker’s age should be within the age limit of 21 yrs. Contender’s date of birth should be between 01.11.1994 to 30.11.1997.
Scale of Pay- During training applicant will be paid Rs.8,500.
Academic Requirements- Applicant should be 12th / Intermediate passed or any other course equivalent to it with at least 50 per cent marks.
OR
Contender should also have passed 2 year Vocational Course recognized / affiliated by State Education Boards or Councils / CBSE with at least 50 per cent marks.
Process of Recruitment- Written Test, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Examination and Personal Interview will be the criteria for selection.

Applicant will be eligible to take part in the rally carrying the Consent Form in the prearranged format, 7 copies of recent colour passport size photograph taken on or after 7th of April, 2014, two self addressed unstamped white envelopes, attested copies of all the necessary documents and passing certificates along with the originals and photocopies of passing certificates self attested. The cutoff date to determine age shall be July 1st, 2014. Maximum age relaxation shall be applicable for the reserved class candidates.
Educational Condition: The minimum educational qualification for Ground Duty Branches is PG Degree or PG Diploma securing atleast 50% marks whereas for remaining branches, Engg or Tech degree with 1stdivision marks is required.
Selection Phases:

Selection Criteria:
The applicants have to attend Written Exam, PFT, and Interview for qualifying to the post. At last, Medical Test will be conducted to make final list of the selected candidates. The date, time and name of the districts for attending recruitment test are mentioned in the official notification.
Manner of Application:
The applicants who fulfill the age and educational criteria might appear for selection tests from dated 20th of Apr to 26th of Apr, 2014. The test will be held at 7 Airmen Selection Centre, 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru (Karnataka) starting from 7 AM and finishing around 10 AM. Manner of Selection: The selection programme consists of Written Exam, Physical Fitness Test, and Interview and at last Medical Examination. The recruitment process will take total four days to complete that is 12 Apr to 15 Apr, 2014 and will cover all the districts of Chandigarh and Punjab.
Educational Condition:
The candidates must have passed Class 12th in Science/Arts/Commerce streams OR done Vocational Course. The minimum eligibility marks secured by candidates is 50%.

Written Exam Information: The candidates will be screened out for PFT round on the basis of their performance in written test. The test will be of duration 45 minutes and will be Hindi and English languages. The result of test conducted will be declared on the very same day.
